At left are software applications that I use regularly. I have been editing written materials and designing layouts since 1973.

In 2004, I published Well Worth a Shindy, a 400-page book about landscape and garden architecture. If there is one thing that will teach you grammatical language, it's editing a book. I became close friends with the Chicago Manual of Style.
