The band (whose members all live in and around Chapel Hill, NC) have known each other for years. In various combinations, they played in bands

together, jammed at parties, did recording work and such various combinations) for quite a while. What brought them together as a band was the wedding of a mutual friend in 2006, when the bride and groom asked Scott to put together a band for the party. They enjoyed playing together, and so did the crowd, so they started jamming together more often. They were asked to play at more house parties and became the regular ‘poor house band’ for a series of parties in the Chapel Hill area. Things took off from there, and they decided to make a go of it as a band, among all the other projects and things they each have going on.
