Passage St.-Paul. The door leads into the east side of the St.-Paul/St.-Louis church.

Passage Eginhard

Passage Eginhard which leads to the rue St.-Paul (Bijoux Blues jewelry store straight ahead)

remnant of the Philippe Auguste wall on the rue Charlemagne

On the corner of the building block above and extending to the left is a huge section of the Phillipe Auguste wall (circa 1197). It extends south of the back of the very prestigious French private high school, the Collège-Lycée Charlemagne.

bookstore window in the Jardins St.-Paul

A bookstore window in the interlaced courtyards of the Jardins St.-Paul, formerly the Hôtel St.-Pol of Charles VI and Charles VII. Unfortunately it was closed that day and I never got back to explore.

A sign in the Village St.-Paul says: "Passage St.-Paul - Le Village St.- Paul construit sur les anciens jardins du Roi Charles V a été restauré et amengé sous la direction de Félix Gatier Architecte DPLG de 1970 à 1981"
