Both of the above photos show the round temple (tholos) on the island of Lac Daumesnil on the edge of the Vincennes park in Paris, France |

Boulangerie at the Porte Dorée |
...and some of the pastries in the window |
Passage St.-Paul. The door leads into the east side of the St.-Paul/St.-Louis church. |
Passage Eginhard which leads to the rue St.-Paul (Bijoux Blues jewelry store straight ahead) |
On the corner of the building block above and extending to the left is a huge section of the Phillipe Auguste wall (circa 1197). It extends south of the back of the very prestigious French private high school, the Collège-Lycée Charlemagne. |
A bookstore window in the interlaced courtyards of the Jardins St.-Paul, formerly the Hôtel St.-Pol of Charles VI and Charles VII. Unfortunately it was closed that day and I never got back to explore. |
A sign in the Village St.-Paul says: "Passage St.-Paul - Le Village St.- Paul construit sur les anciens jardins du Roi Charles V a été restauré et amengé sous la direction de Félix Gatier Architecte DPLG de 1970 à 1981" |
